Cockroaches are one of the most serious foods and residential pests worldwide and infest the places where food is stored, prepared, or served. The cockroach is resilient and difficult to control. They are carriers of the organisms causing diarrhoea, cholera, plague and viral diseases. In addition, they carry the eggs of parasitic worms and may cause allergic reactions including dermatitis, itching and more serious respiratory conditions. Many asthmatic patients are sensitized to cockroach allergens.
Speck cockroach gel bait can be selectively used in sensitive areas, such as premises used for the preparation of food, in hospitals and kindergartens.
